This week I am working on the Sunbrella Beaufort Ember marine grade awning fabric that is remaining, in my inventory.
So far, it looks like I will be able to make an 8' x 8' SOLD vintage trailer awning, a 7 1/2' X 8' vintage camper awning, and maybe one other smaller retro style trailer awning.
These Vintage Trailer Awnings by Kristi are made with Sunbrella marine grade awning fabric. The first vintage camper awning is Sunbrella pattern Black Forest Fancy Stripe. This one is 7 1/2' x 8'

On the 10' x 8' awning, there are three grommets for three adjustable height tent poles, which are not included. When selecting an adjustable height tent pole, be sure it extends high enough for the type of trailer that you own. An awning rail that is high off of the ground, will need a longer telescoping tent pole than a small trailer with a lower awning rail.
This second camper awning is made with Sunbrella marine grade awning fabric pattern Taupe 5 Bar.

I was able to acquire some shorter length fiberglass shock pole sections, which fit into a large flat rate USPS priority mail box with the arched awning. This will save on shipping costs anywhere in the USA.

Right from the start, arched vintage trailer awnings are made differently from traditional flat trailer awnings.
Arched Vintage Trailer Awnings have pockets formed in the facings that surround the underside of the awning. The shock poles cross and seat into the corner pockets. dfoster@bellsouth.net
Arched vintage camper awnings have a tie strap centered on the underside, to keep the shock poles from sliding out of position.

In the front corners of an arched vintage trailer awning, the pockets are hidden in the facings, so when using the awning without the shock poles the differences aren't noticeable.

Measuring the shock poles, for each individual arched vintage trailer awning, is always a challenge.
The shock poles need to be just the right length to arch the awning upward providing extra height underneath and incline for rain run off. dfoster@bellsouth.net

| When the rain is pouring, and the winds are blowing at gale force, I lower all of the tent poles, and add bungee cords over the grommets, to keep the awning from slipping over the tent pole tips. Lowering all of the adjustable height tent poles, allows for quick rain run off during a downpour. |

Also in progress are five Airstream Clip-On window awnings for the push or crank out type of awning windows.
