Old-Time Craftsmanship and Construction yet using today's Technologically Advanced Materials, Marine Grade Vertical Striped 100% acrylic Fabric, either a Vintage Style Pull Cord or a Vinyl Welt, #69 Nylon Thread, and Brass Grommets. Designed to replicate a vintage awning that I own. It is period correct for vintage trailers.Facings surround the underside providing added structure and reinforcement for the brass grommets. 8' x 8' Arched Awning Almost Finished

Today I am fitting the shock poles for the 8' x 8' Forest Vintage Bar Stripe Awning. This awning is made with Sunbrella marine grade awning fabric with Sunbrella Brass braid trim on the scalloped valances. Sold

Fitting the shock poles for this 8' x 8' arched awning

Will be adding a tie strap for where the shock poles cross

The vinyl welt slides into a c-channel awning rail with a 3/8" diameter opening on the end

Facings surround the underside for added structure, reinforcement for the grommets, and where the pockets are formed for the shock poles.
This arched awning, needs a straight / level awning rail for at least 8'.
