This vintage trailer awning has a fabric covered pull cord pulled through the c-channel awning rail attaching it to the trailer |
Sewn onto one edge, of a Vintage Trailer Awning by Kristi, is either a fabric covered marine grade pull cord, or a vinyl welt. Already secured to the side, a few inches above the trailer door, or along the top edge of a vintage trailer, you will find an aluminum awning rail with a 3/8" diameter c-channel. Once the welt or fabric covered pull cord, slides into the c-channel of the awning rail, it attaches the Vintage Trailer Awning by Kristi to the vintage trailer.

On the left is a spool of marine grade cording for a Rope and Pole vintage trailer awning. On the right is a spool of vinyl welt, which can be sewn along the trailer edge of an awning. Either one of these will attach a vintage trailer awning to the c-channel awning rail on a vintage camper. |
