I have been creating Vintage Look Awnings since 2007, which is when I made the prototype awning for myself. The design of my vintage trailer awnings is unique from other vintage camper awnings on the market today. It is a replica from the past, when quality and craftsmanship were evident. The old-time design and construction, of an authentic vintage trailer awning, inspired my development of Vintage Look Awnings. Each awning has period correct vertical stripes, a fabric covered pull cord, and 8" scalloped valances on three sides. The edges on the underside are surrounded by facings, which give the awning more structure, extra support plus reinforcement for the grommets. Although they represent the retro style, each vintage trailer awning is made entirely with today's technologically advanced weatherproof materials.

Vintage Trailer Awnings by Kristi evolved from the original Vintage Look Awnings, which originated over a decade ago, when I first began making awnings. Still using Sunbrella marine grade awning fabric, Sunbrella braid trim, but now using a vinyl welt instead of the fabric covered pull cord.
