Designed to replicate a vintage awning that I own. It is period correct for vintage trailers.Facings surround the underside providing added structure and reinforcement for the brass grommets. Selecting A Pattern For A Vintage Trailer Awning

Selecting a striped fabric pattern, for your custom vintage trailer awning, can be a difficult process. Help is available! If you need advice selecting a pattern from my inventory of marine grade awning fabric, to coordinate with your trailer's color scheme, just ask. I will be happy to offer suggestions. Pictures of your trailer's exterior and interior are helpful, if you would like to email them to me "The Awning Lady" at dfoster@bellsouth.net. My inventory is constantly changing. I may have striped patterns in colors that aren't pictured on my Blog. By knowing the size of the awning you need, I can determine if I have enough yardage.

Striped Awning Fabric Has Been Ordered for Vintage Trailer Awnings by Kristi

500 yards of Sattler striped awning fabric have arrived for your Vintage Trailer Awnings by Kristi custom awning orders. There are many striped patterns to choose from, for your rope and pole camper awning. Celebrate with me over this great awning fabric find! By purchasing awning fabric in bulk, I am able to get a price break per yard, allowing Vintage Trailer Awnings by Kristi to continue to be affordable. Some rolls have plenty of fabric, while others may only have enough for a small/ medium sized awning. Inquire with your awning rail measurement. I have also posted what patterns are left from my Outdura inventory. All patterns are 100% acrylic, have UV protection against harmful radiation and fading, resistant to rain, stain, tears, mildew, and are a breathable fabric for comfortable air flow. The fabric is equally vibrant on both sides and threads are 9.25 weight.

New Order Of Marine Grade Awning Fabric Is On It's Way!

Just as my inventory of vintage trailer awning fabric was dwindling down, I was given the opportunity to purchase some more first quality, overstocks and discontinued patterns. This time instead of Dickson or Sunbrella, it is Outdura striped marine grade awning fabric, which is also 100% acrylic, 47" wide, resistant to rain, fade, stain, tears, chemicals, mildew, rot, and provides UV protection.
As usual a PayPal payment reserves the pattern and the next place in line for an awning.
Update: Do to the popularity of Southport Cork and Carlisle Cedar, I have already ordered more rolls of fabric. I also added Summerton Garden to the pattern selections.
Fall 2013 Sattler Awning Fabric has arrived for more selections of awning fabric patterns.

My New Vintage Trailer Awning

Frequent visitors to my Vintage Awnings blog know that each November is when inventory and sewing machine maintenance is completed. I also take the time to reclaim my dining room for the holidays, because every available surface has been buried in marine grade awning fabric for months on end! This year, I finally decided to make myself a new vintage trailer awning, from some leftover inventory of Dickson awning material. A matching Rock Guard awning is also in the works. As I prepare my home for a Thanksgiving Day celebration, let me take this opportunity to thank everyone for another extremely busy vintage trailer awning making season. Happy Thanksgiving!
