Old-Time Craftsmanship and Construction yet using today's Technologically Advanced Materials, Marine Grade Vertical Striped 100% acrylic Fabric, either a Vintage Style Pull Cord or a Vinyl Welt, #69 Nylon Thread, and Brass Grommets. Designed to replicate a vintage awning that I own. It is period correct for vintage trailers.Facings surround the underside providing added structure and reinforcement for the brass grommets. Sliding The Fabric Covered Pull Cord On A Vintage Trailer Awning Along The Awning Rail

The fabric covered cord is what enters the awning rail.

The twisted cord hangs forward through the slit in the c-channel awning rail.

Twist the pull cord to tighten the strands, narrowing it to fit through the slit in the c-channel awning rail easier. Then pull the cord, sliding the awning along the awning rail.
